day one

For all intents and purposes, I have completed my first day of NaNoWriMo with 5,130 words. Woot!

It's only eight o'clock, but I decided that I am done for the night because I have a sorority meeting to attend at nine, and I still have to complete my optical materials homework. I LOVE engineering school.

That's it for now -- my plan for tomorrow is get up and head to CAC early so I can get a few hundred more words in before class. Ambitious, I know, but it's worth a try.
